Tools and Resources
A collection of tools I personally use for trading. Some links are affiliate links. I may earn a small commission at no cost to you if you sign up. I only list things I actually use.
My primary broker. Alpaca currently allows trading Stocks, Options, and Crypto. They have a great and easy to use API for bots or algo trading and integration with Trading View.
I use Oanda for forex trading. They offer reliable execution, competitive spreads, and a solid platform that can be integrated with Trading View. I use OANDA for live and paper forex trading. The Oanda API can be used for algo trading and data retrieval.
My primary prop firm. One of the most reputable in the space, Their Bootcamp program is accessible and their scaling plan pushes funded accounts up to $4M. They offer a forex-focused program and have recently launched a Futures program.
A newer prop firm with which allows trading on multiple instruments, including stocks. I am in the evaluation phase right now. I did have some technical issues with delays in the feed, but eveyhing appears to be resolved now and I can trade on MT5 in a similar manner to a live market. Customer service was responsive to answer questions and resolve the issues. There aren't many prop firms for trading stocks, and aside from these issues my trading experience so far has been good. I like their dashboard and I like the flexibility with various instruments. The prices for evaluations are great as well. As of now, I can't vouch for payouts, but I will keep updating as I progress through the evaluation and hopefully into a funded account.
